Lakme Absolute Plump and Shine 3D Gloss ~ Berry Shine

Lakme Absolute Range's Plump and Shine Lipgloss are very pretty glosses that somehow stand by what they claim .. Yes I say so!!
For me Lipgloss is something that shifts your look from a casual/formal straight to partying one,, Glossy lips are beautiful and pretty but are not for formal looks. I had this conception until I used this range.

These glosses are pretty, shiny but yet nicely pigmented and hence does not make you look tooo dolled up,
I got only this shade ~ Berry Shine from this range as it was the kind of shade I was looking for a really long time. There is another shade ~ candy shine which is so pretty but somehow I don't like that shade on me,,

I did not find them sticky at all and these have some moisturizing properties too. No dry lips after it withers off and also it leaves a nice tinge of the shade on the lips .

The plumping factor ~ If you have thin lips and want fuller ones that grab these ryt now, I don't joke when I say that your lips are going to plump nicely,,well quite nicely!!
Mine are not thin at all so maybe I will not pick up any other shade from this range but yes,,its a cheap equivalent to limp plumping shots present in the cosmetic clinics these days.

The shade is Delicious!!! Its like peach+pink+minute shimmer = perfect ingredient for a pretty gloss.
I find them decently pigmented and this works with so many lipstick shades~ here I have paired it with Vintage from Oriflame my fav go to lipstick and it looks beautiful !!

The packaging is fine, looks nice but the wand is useless,, you have to dip the wand so many times inside the tube to get some color on the sponge applicator.

It lasts for around 4 hours on my lips, I never retouch my lipstick unless I was my face.

It shines nicely because it has minute shimmer in it , its bearable :) my mum approved ;)

~ Things I like

1. The shade and its pigmentation. whats inside looks like the same on your lips.
2. Sticking to its claims
3. Plumps up the lips nicely
4. Decent packaging
5. stays on for good 4 hours
6. Travel Friendly

~ Things I didn't like

1. The wand applicator ~ useless . Dip it inside , scratch the wand on the sides of the tube and you may get some color on the sponge .. :\
2. The fragrance ~ I like cosmetics to be fragrance free ~ so not much of a con.

Price : INR 375

Recommendation : yes please :) even if you have full lips,, these are worth trying.

what do you people you do when you have to choose among two equally good things!! I fell short of thoughts when in a situation like this then and then I do something like this :

Two makeup brush sets equally cute ~ equally efficient (shhh okay one was much better!! but still ..) and I have to make a choice, the lady at the counter is staring at me,,its been a long long pause and she wants to attend other customers too!!,,,what do I do,,what do I DO!! I do the cutest thing then ,,keep both of them side by side and count on  them,,

" I love *my love's name *"

 : D , the one on which number "my love's name" fall is the one I buy,,, I KNOW!! if I believe in such a thing then it will always be the one kept on the left but still I love doing this each and every time,, :) :) :)

so,,this is the one I bought and lets see how it has fared me till now..

This smart little leather pouch has 3 brushes in it :


1. A large powder Brush


2 A blush Brush


3 A concealer Brush

The powder Brush is a nice long brush with very soft bristles , I won't say its super soft,,Its soft!! .
The barrel is quite sturdy and it has some rhinestones places on it which looks pretty and girly :)
It is quite efficient i picking up loose powder from the pan and the blending part is good too. There is no streaky marks left on my face after I use it.
The brush looks heavy but it is not,,I actually like its grip .

The blush brush is my favorite among these three. It does its job quite nicely and is light weight so blending is a effortless job with this one,,also it does not pick up too much color at a time,,hence I have a hold on the  color pick-up

Then there is the concealer brush. It is really not worth even a rupee. It doesn't do its job, its picks up cream concealers but can't blend them, the bristles are so stiff. doesn't even bend. I would have thrown it if it wasn't pretty . :)

The brushes come in their plastic covering, which still is intact, impressive!!

I love the pink rhinestones on it,,super cute ^-^ :)

I had a fear that the stones will fell of once I wash them , but no,,some 5-6 times I have washed them and nothing fell off..
The finishing of the brushes is very nice.I just felt that the concealer brush is a wastage in it,


Recommendation : no please...even though the powder and the blush brush is good,,

Price : INR 750, i got it at around INR 500 :) :)

Ok, I had never tried Oriflame lipsticks and wanted to try once as everyone these days are raving about it. 

The scene is that I always have some shades in the back of my mind that I want to buy but as soon as I enter a shop I forget it :| and then starts the issue of what to buy n what to skip,,fact is that I always buy two very similar shade every time and then repent later on..

So a shop that I know stocks Oriflame products and I wanted to check their lipsticks there.

As usual I was dependant on the S.A. to show me different shades and I was not clear in my head for any shade.

So, that person showed me this shade  Trendy Berry and suggested me that I should go for this one only and look no further :p I did as what she said :P I repent it today :P I will repent it for long :p

Lets come to the shade now :

The shade trendy berry is a deep berry shade that shows up only when you swipe it 3-4 times, else it comes as a very sheer glittery lipstick only.

What the company says about the range :

My take on this lipstick :

The packaging : Its silver n royal blue with some detailing on the case. But nowhere on the case can you see the shade , you have to read the bottom to see the shade if you have allot of shades from this range else if you are like me and won't be getting any more shade from this range then you know what shade you are picking up ;)

I dislike the packaging

The quantity :

only 1.6 gm 

The quality :

Ok, no I don't like the quality, you have to swipe hard this shade atleast 4 times for the color to show up.

The swatch m showing on my arm is by applying it six times.

I don't even like the color :|

The lipstick stays on your lips for only 2-3 hours (without having any meal) which is bad,,really bad

I don't find it moisturising my lips any time.

The fragrance :

Fruity but not in a nice way,,I dislike it completely..

Price :

329 INR (no I am not sure about it, neither I got any discount on it :| )

Recommendation : buy if you like oodles of glitter in your lipstick,, skip it completely if you don't and can't stand strange fruity fragrance. My personal opinion though,,if you like it then its good na :) :)
