This song touched my heart like pure love. To even say that I love it,,,, is in itself an understatement ,, you can find me listening this song any time of the day ,, The movie,, well where to start about it ! I sometimes watch it at 2 in the morning,, I feel alone or I feel loved ,, this movie works its magic everytime. I express with my eyes more than with words. People say that I talk with my eyes . :) I have no clue which eyeshadow suits my eye color. I tried google but nothing inspired/excited me. When I pictured myself wearing eyeshadow it has always been THIS, orangish-brown, plum-purple and shimmery brown. Everything apart from these,,well I cringe at the thought of it. Of course when I comment on Blogger's post with their vibrant eyemakeup and say that '' you look fab'' I mean it!! I like those eye looks on other people, on me na na na .. Standing on makeup counter and imagining this shadow and that shadow on my eyes does help :) So, when I was on the Bourjois counter asking for a particular shade number which they didn't have in stock I asked them to show me the open palette that was kept in their makeup stand. I had already decided on buying the smoky eye trio,,so the sales girl knew which shades I wanted. I looked at the pan of this 92 santal, took a swatch on my hand and immediately said I want this Shadow,, twinkling eyes,,smile on my lips,,I had found THE shadow for me ;)
(Background ) I had to catch a movie which was going to start in 5 mins in the same mall where I was doing all this shopping. I was hurrying like anything,,my cell kept ringing,,i kept on getting threatening calls,,calls from my peeps asking me to come up for the show,,(as if they will disown me ;) I paid the bill and ran and ran . I like running .
(mins later) So, bored of the movie I opened my bag and with the help of the light on my cell phone, I started checking out the stuff I bought (was ensuring that they gave me everything ! whether I took back my credit card from the billing counter ! what was the free gift ! ooohhh I spent this much :o ! ) ,, I saw a lil pot with blush written on it,, I thought I got blush as a free gift. hmphh why why would they give a blush as a free gift ! I read the name 92 SANTAL and damnnnn!! I got cheated !! Or m I so LOST while shopping ! The shade which I loved was of a Blush not a eyeshadow. The sales girl zipped up her mouth to sell another of their product. I got cheated ! Yet I am Happy ;) I love this shade. I don't wear blush often. It's like only for parties. I used the blush as a shadow and I am having no complaints. It works fine as a eye shadow. Stays put for long ~ 5 hrs ~ Doesn't crease. Has fine shimmer . I LUB it ;) Take a look at the pics.
I didn't care to conceal my dark circles. Why? cos I didn't feel like. Why m I having dark circles ? well... I read till wee hours in the morning + I am not keeping well since past one month. so, please excuse okie :)
I am looking pink/orange/coral over here and I dunno the reason. Plus I accidently deleted all the good ones.
The blush is good, I have reviewed Lilas D'or another shade from the same range over here . Have written about the quality and everything in that . I applied it on my cheeks as a bronzer and it looked F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S (only thing is I don't apply bronzer/blush daily,,once in a blue moon case) Price ~ INR 575 Thanks Namita :) Dream some more today .. (p.s. the Blush pot had the eyeshadow applicator in it and not the small blush brush . Man!! She sure tried to fool me!! well... you know everything now.. ;) )

I have lived near the sea shore for quite a long time and the sun kissed glow you get while spending a nice sunny day on the coast is something no blush can ever give to you,,
since I have moved now,,and there is only a lake and a canal near my home,,I have to depend on Blushes to get that peachy sun kissed glow :) ;)
So, when I saw this blush ~ Peach Glow by Faces I was all game for it,, even before swatching it on my hand,,sometimes you just look at something and you know its perfect,,its that kind of product for me.

But ya this Blush does..because its a Cream based Blush..
I wanted to buy the NYX cream blushes but well I bought something else.. :D ,,its a good thing and will be there on my blog in coming days..
The shade is Peach Glow ~ Its true peach shade with golden fine shimmer in it, It looks burnt orange in the pan but when blended on skin it looks like a true peach shade,,very pretty indeed. :)

I only had either Pink or Brown pink Blushes in my vanity up till now, this is the first time I have bought a Peach Blush and m glad I went for this one.
This is a neither super creamy blush nor a hard waxy one.. its somewhere in between and you need to blend it with your fingers quite nicely.
On my skin it stays put for not more than 4 hours. So, you can say that the day long wear claim is a bit too much.
Packaging is good, nice shiny glossy packaging with a small mirror inside. Its absolutely travel friendly because of the tight clasp it has.
You can either use your fingers to get the product from the pan, or q-tips or a stippling brush. If you use your fingers for taking the blush from the pan then make sure they are sanitized. You don't want germs and bacteria to dwell on your Blush..
There are a total of 7 shades in this range and this one is shade number 006 ~ Peach Glow

Lilas D'or is a very glittery/shimmery blush something that is for a lot more fun wear look than for a look that needs to be put up in a highly formal way . Its apt for casual lunches/movies/fancy dinner parties/romantic getaways/weddings and sorts ;)

To describe the shade I would say that it is definitely a pretty pink but with a little tint of peach/orange and lots of glitters that shimmers and sparkles so beautifull :D :D

If someone asks me their suggestion to buy a blush for a party/fun look then go ahead and buy this one without any doubt. :)
Its not something that will appear too shiny on your face, it will be shiny but in a beautiful way and not something that would make u look like a a disco ball.

The staying power of this blush varies from person to person, on a oily/combi skin of mine it easily stays put for like 3 hours and then starts fading and leaves only a slight tinge of color after 4-5 hrs.
When I get ready at home I use my normal blush brush to pick up the color from the pan , I simply dread using the brush which comes with it as it doesn't do anything practically speaking,,cute but bahhh ..
But when I am outside and have to re-touch then I have to use it anyways and it does a average job as it has to only do layering that time,,

The packaging is quite nice and has a inbuilt mirror which is fine and the brush lies on top of the blush pan itself, no separation here but since the closing mechanism is tight n sturdy therefore no issues with it.
Take a look at the swatches below ; for the first one I had to intentionally put loads n loads for the camera to pick up the exact shade and the second n third pic have the blended swatches :) pretty pretty :)
I love this blush like anything, I will buy n re buy again as it works for me and is my kind of pink glittery blush.

Colorbar is a well known brand in Indian market thanks to the good quality and the reasonable price.
I am not much of a blush person, can say that i like it on other people's face but not on my own,,,so have always kept bay with blushes,,but on a recent shopping spree i came across this ~ Plum Brown Blush from colorbar.

This blush comes as a surprise for me cos i m loving it, the color is medium to rich plum color with brown accents to it which gives it a lovely twist. super easy to blend,,,and brownie points to it cos it helps me in contouring my face as well,,so yeyyy :) for it.

Quality is good too but not as good as the ones I have used from MAC and Lancome for obvious reasons,,but still i will recommend it to the ones who are starting to use blushes and are afraid of the pink/shimmering ones .
