Poppy Red is a deep tone mix of Red and Maroon, for me it reminds me of the color trend in lehengas that swooped all over India a couple of years back , deep maroon lehenga with gold embellishments,,yup that is how I can describe it to all of you.

Not to be afraid of the strange description as this color looks very pretty on hands (disliked the same shade lehengas :p )  and I am of the opinion that this particular shade will look good on each and every beautiful skin tones :).
A white warm coat, a dull gold scarf and poppy red nails is what I love :D LOL

I am quite picky when it comes to nail polishes and their brands. I always buy Revlon nail paints and sometimes a few from colorbar but definitely 90 % from revlon ; but I am very impressed from the brand Faces for their nail paints.

The consistency of the polish is what I liked the most, its thick but when applied.
Colors are very rich and the shine they have is superb. I will give recommendation to  each one of you to try it out .

On my nails the polish remains un-chipped for about 2 days , THE Reason being I am cooking allot these days so the washing/chopping/slicing is what leads to chipping at a much faster rate but then when I was travelling it remain un-chipped for 4 days and that is ok as per my thinking :)

The gloss also remains intact for long from these polishes.
